An Echo of Wenders for the Plaza’s Neon Sign
With the new line chosen for the Plaza’s neon sign, Geneva-based artist Christian Robert-Tissot brings us back to Wim Wenders’ foundational film. Released in 1974, Alice in the Cities is a luminous meditation on wandering and rootlessness.
Simon Edelstein, Indian Travellings 2006 – 2025
After a first exhibition at the Plaza devoted to the disappearance of old cinemas around the world, Simon Edelstein continues his photographic journey with a second episode dedicated to India. The exhibition is on view in the public areas of the Mont-Blanc Centre.

The Plaza reveals its new visual identity
The new visual identity of the Plaza was developed by Schaffter Sahli studio. The identity highlights the close relationship between architecture and typography. A new website will be launched by the end of the year.

The Fondation Plaza Board is deeply pleased to announce the appointment of Fabien Gaffez as General and Artistic Director of the Plaza Centre Cinéma. Currently the Artistic Director of the Forum des Images in Paris, he will take up his new position on September 1, 2025.
